While Griffith Halls of Residence will try to ensure that the information provided on our website is correct and accurate, it is not responsible for any unintentional mistakes or errors made in it.

The website reservation will be considered null and void if the information provided by the guest is incorrect. Griffith Halls of Residence reserves the right not to accept the reservation in any event that the reservation made is deemed fraudulent in nature.


Terms and Conditions

Facilities/Services Included in the Price

All apartments come fully furnished and include a kitchen equipped with appliances, cutlery, crockery, and kitchen utensils.

Only basic toiletries are supplied to the apartment and guests are reminded to bring their own.

All prices quoted are inclusive of bed linen & towels.

No items may be removed from the apartment.


Check-in and Check-out Requirements


Apartments will usually be made available from 14:00 on the day of arrival.

Unless otherwise agreed in advance, all apartments must be vacated by 12:00 Noon on the day of departure.

Late check outs can be arranged by prior arrangement (subject to availability). A late check-out surcharge per hour will apply. An additional night’s accommodation will apply to all check-outs after 16:00



Rates quotes are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate and rates as advertised on our website or any other website or promotional material are subject to change at any time and may increase or decrease at the property’s discretion.


Accessible Rooms

Limited Accessible guest rooms are available. Should you require accessible accommodation please contact the front desk team in advance of making a reservation. We will do our very best to accommodate your requirements.



No pets are allowed in the apartments with the exception of service dogs.


No Smoking Policy and Candles Policy

All apartments at Griffith Halls of Residence are non-smoking properties. A charge of €1000 may be applied in the event smoking has occurred in the apartment.

Use of candles or any naked flames in the apartments are strictly prohibited.


Access to the Apartments by Management

The Management and its authorized personnel may at any time access the apartment for the purpose of inspection of the apartment and to carry out repair or maintenance work.

Please notify the Front Desk in the event of a fire or other emergency. A map showing emergency exits can be found on the back of your room door.


Child Policy

Guests under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by at least one adult per apartment.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.


Use of Griffith Halls of Residence Property & Quiet Hours Policy

Unfortunately, Griffith Halls of Residence is unable to accept ‘stag’ or ‘hen’ parties.

Guests are asked to respect other guests and neighbours in relation to noise. Quiet hours at the property run from 23:00 until 07:00.

Guests shall not do anything in the accommodation which is a breach of the law or cause a nuisance of any kind or behave in an anti-social manner to fellow guests or staff members.

Guests may not re-let/sublet the apartment to any other third party.

We reserve the right to refuse a Guest entry and accommodation if, on arrival Management reasonably considers that the guest is under the influence of drink or drugs, or is behaving in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner.

We operate a strict No-Party policy. The maximum number of people per apartment should not be exceeded and noise levels must not cause a disturbance to other guests. Additional charges will be levied on a Guest’s account if there is evidence of a party having taken place.

The maximum apartment occupancy is set out on your booking confirmation.

Guests shall comply with all reasonable rules and procedures in effect at the property, including but not limited to health and safety and security procedures and requirements as to registration.

If during the course of a stay, Management receives serious complaints about the Guest or the Guest is behaving in a manner detrimental to the enjoyment of other guests, or the Guest is in breach of the Terms and Conditions, Management reserves the right to terminate the Guest's stay without notice and without any obligation to refund any monies.

All staff are trained and required to respond to potential violations of our policies. Guests who refuse to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established Griffith rooms for safety of all guests and staff will be asked to vacate the property without a refund of their apartment charge. Cleaning fees/other charges may apply.


Damage To And / Or Theft of Property

Guests are liable for any damage caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the apartments, premises or property caused by the guest or any person in the guest’s party whether or not staying at the property during the guest’s stay. Griffith Rooms reserves the right to retain the guest’s credit card and/or debit card details as presented at registration to charge or debit the credit /debit card such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deemed necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by Griffith Rooms as a result of the aforesaid.

Should damage come to light after the guest has departed management reserves the right and the guest hereby authorizes the management to charge the guest’s credit or debit card for any damage incurred to the guest’s apartment or property during their stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. The management will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum. This right to charge will also apply to loss of earnings and/or profit where the damage is of such a nature that the room is unable to be let to other guests. This right to charge will also apply where any item from the hotel room is removed or lost. 


Fire Safety Policy

The property is fully equipped with heat and smoke detectors. Emergency evacuation plans can be found on the back of each apartment door. Please review this important information on arrival. Please notify the Front Desk in the event of a fire or other emergency. A map that shows emergency exits can be found on the back of your room door.

Damage or Tampering with Fire Detection Systems/Fire-Fighting Equipment

Griffith Rooms reserves the right to act against any guest or visitor found to have tampered with or interfered with any detection equipment throughout the property, including smoke detector heads in public areas, apartments, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests or visitors found to have tampered with any fire detection or fire-fighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the property due to their actions and will be evicted from the property. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the Gardaí will be notified and may become involved at the property’s discretion.

Management reserves the right and the guest hereby authorizes us to charge their credit or debit card for any damage incurred to the guest’s apartment or the property during their stay.


Car Park

While provision of a car park is available to all guests Griffith Rooms offers no warranty of any kind nor any indemnity as to the protection or safety of any vehicle left in the car park, or any goods left within any vehicle parked there.



Where applicable to group and corporate contracts, reservations will be subject to VAT charged at the prevailing applicable rate at their time of stay. 


Right to book out

If on your arrival at Griffith Rooms the room you have reserved is unavailable for any reason, Griffith rooms reserve the right, at our option, to relocate you to another room within the Griffith Rooms, if available, or, alternatively, to a comparable room in a hotel of a similar standard at another location.


Third-Party Booking Sources

In the case of cancellation or modifications to reservations made through third party providers, we recommend that guests first contact their source of booking for assistance before contacting the front desk as it is not usually possible to amend bookings made through third parties directly with the hotel.

By providing these links we are not endorsing or recommending such websites or the services or material provided by them. We therefore accept no responsibility for the materials, services or other situations at or related to or from any other website. In no event shall the total liability of Griffith Rooms to you arising from these terms and conditions exceed the total cost of monies paid (or payable) by you to Griffith Rooms in connection with your reservation.


Lost & Found

Griffith Rooms assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. Should guests discover that an item of value has been left behind, please call us immediately on 01 416 3320 and front desk will try to assist the guest(s) and our housekeeping staff in locating the lost item.

Found Items

Griffith Rooms is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. However, any item, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after departure by Housekeeping will be collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to three months, after which the item shall be disposed accordingly. Records of Lost & Found items are retained for one year. Reasonable effort will be made to notify the guests that an item has found. Perishable items, underwear, and miscellaneous toiletries are discarded.



A 24-hour security team is stationed at the entrance of the Griffith College campus to ensure the safety and security of all guests. The main gates are closed at 23:00 each night, but guests are still able to enter the campus through the turnstile gate after hours which all keys are provided access to at check-in.
